Delivery, returns & installation
Standard delivery is $5.95 and typically arrives within 3–6 working days. Express is $12.95 and typically arrives within 1–3. Orders over $75.00 ship free on the standard service.
You have 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging. Installing or replacing a ceiling fitting involves mains wiring, and we would always recommend a qualified electrician for that. Rules vary by country, so check what applies where you live.
What it is for
The problem with hanging a pendant low over a table is glare: sit down, look up slightly, and you are looking straight at the bulb. A diffuser panel across the opening fixes that. The whole underside of the shade becomes the light source instead of a single point.
The width helps too. A 40 cm shade covers most of a four-seat table, so the light falls evenly across it rather than dropping off sharply at the edges.
If you are lighting a longer table, two of these spaced along it usually works better than one larger fitting in the middle.

Before you order
Which colour temperature should I choose?
Warmer tones around 2700K suit living rooms and bedrooms, where you want the light to feel soft. Cooler tones nearer 4000K suit kitchens, bathrooms and workspaces where you want to see detail clearly.
Am I charged when I place the order?
No. Checkout records your order and reserves the stock. We email you to confirm availability, the final total and delivery, and payment is completed from that email. No card is charged on this site.
How many lumens does a room need?
It depends on the room size, the ceiling height and how the space is used, so there is no single answer. Send us the dimensions and what the room is for, and we will suggest a range.
Do I need an electrician?
Changing a bulb, no. Installing or replacing a ceiling fitting involves mains wiring, and we would always recommend a qualified electrician for that. Rules vary by country, so check what applies where you live.
